Iam headed toward learning to work from home and the day to day challenges on how to make it through my day. If you are experiencing this change join me at https://essentialprints.website Iam learning it is not so easy when trying to meet new challenges and relearning to work from home, and the day to day work and home life boundaries. I learned quickly to set goals early, stick to them, to accomplish and get things done here is my to-do list To-Do-List__freebie (download my to-do-list insert the link here from the media section)
Getting started: Getting off to a good start with some well thought out goals is key. Getting started early in the morning. I start by drinking lemon water, about 45 min mediation and stretching and writing my to-do list in a simple lined tracker and dated journal. I make note the time of morning I start, this will help guide me towards getting things done, and how much time I spend and energy to do certain tasks. I start with those things I consider most important to the least important. I number each things/task until I reach ten because, I want to feel that Iam accomplishing something today. Once I have my to-do list and I have defined my schedule. I am ready to warm up my computer.
A dedicated workspace: Now that I have defined my schedule for that day. I have a dedicated workspace to work from. My essential tools to get started when WFH include a strong Wi-Fi provider like Xfinity https//www.xfinity.com for a computer shop, and hp-printers shop www.bestbuy.com , chair and desk go to https://www.amazon.com iPhone and headset as needed. My desktop programs include having an email provider, that helps grow my clients list . My design app of choice is Canva because I love their template’s for email templates, news letters, and social media posts and they are used Friendly. you can find them at https://www.canva.com I also subscribe to wordpress and Bluehost for my website and landing page needs visit them to choose your blog and website themes at https://bluehost.com
Once I get to my desk, my day to day challenges can be packed with things to do from the list ( see my to-do-list insert that link here)and there are different learning curves as I go. there is a lot to do, and because Iam organized with my tracker that helps guide me through the say. I start by going down the to-do list, which could mean either writing or editing a blog post with researched ideas that includes a keywork search and internal and external links. Catching up on emails, newsletters. Next Ideas for a social media post
I take rest periods as needed, and drink plenty of water, get up to walk around to stretch as needed. Because I work from home and build my own content I can revise my schedule as needed. Being able to revise my WFH schedule helps with the day to day challenges. I do not feel stressed if I do not finish every thing today, because here is always tomorrow.
